Coop price

im in the process of building a 8x8 coop we will have around $300 in it. then I need to build a run off of the coop. I already have a few posts and the wire.

yup people would like a exact price but it won't happen my coops 4x6 and i spent maybe 50 bucks on it. My neighbor was doing construction and brought me all kinds of scraps of plywood even gave me 2 sheets of metal roof. so i had to buy a couple 2x4's and some screws and hardware.

A 4x8x8 would be a minimum of $500 here, it really depends on where you are. Since you dont know how to price one out Ill assume you want someone else to build it for you, google chicken coops and several companies will pop up that you can buy from. It will be in the thousands.

Needs ideas in a grow out coop! Will need one in about 2-3 weeks and we aren't sure how is the best way to do it. It will have to hold 8 small pullets and 2 Roos. How long do they stay in the grow out coop???

Your carpenter friend should be able to work up a price pretty quick, having the experience to know what and how many materials are needed for the size building you want and what lumber costs are in your area.

Then Id probably ask him make sure you include a ton of ventilation in your design,
