Coop progress. Getting ready for winter with free pallet wood

Then I ran out of wood.......:P but the north side is almost done.....
 
Looks great! I see the ventilation on the small addition, but are you planning on ventilation in the larger one?
 
The big one is my barn, with an access door to the smaller coop for egg collection. I only have six BO. The barn houses all the feed, pine shavings and wheat straw bails. :D

I see you're in Georgia..pretty hot there I imagine most days. That one ventilation "strip" that I see...is that the only one? Or are there more that are out of view?
 
The little box part is the coop? What are the dimensions? That looks rather small for six of any kind of chicken. In the summer that is going to get pretty hot without lots more ventilation.
 
How are you treating the pallet wood so that it will not rot? Or is that not a problem where you're at? Untreated wood will fall apart in one year here.
