I have 4 chicks that are 6-7 weeks old and definitely coop ready, but I have one that is maybe 3.5 weeks old but likes to hang with the “big girls”. They haven’t been sleeping under the brooder plate and have been spending full days outside. I want to leave them in their coop overnight but am worried about the younger one. Will she be fine snuggling up with the bigger girls for heat? Supposed to be 48 degrees overnight.
I have 2 more chicks that are 2ish weeks and another that is 8 days old in the brooder. All the chicks have been hanging out together (yes, even my 6-7 week old chicks are nice to the itty bitty). I’m hoping to move the rest of the chicks outside in the next week or two. Thoughts?
