Coop recommendations?

Cost of materials around $300 total. not quite complete yet but it should hold up for several years in the Texas weather.
Very heavy looking built,--nice, but a question?? Why that cheap chicken wire? Hope its inside a protected area---a raccoon and medium size dog can go right through that wire.

I might put a second layer on the inside as well. But there's not too many big predators around here. I think it will do okay for now. I'm also going to put a door on the coop entry so at night I can close the door.

We have bears, mountain lions, hawks, skunks, raccoons, snakes, turkey, fox, squirrels, deer, elk, humans, mountain sheep, antelope, cars, and every predator known in the US probably... my German shepherd has been our biggest problem

400

Used pallets for a lot of the framing, plywood from shipping containers and a lot of nails/ screws laying around. One circular saw, a drill, framing square, speed square and a few paint brushes.,, $400 and happy it's almost over lol took 2 weeks with about 1 week of not doing much due to about 20" of snow

I was thinking about running some barbed wire around the bottom to help discourage any dogs or possums. That's pretty much all we have in this area that I would worry about. Also at night I'm going to have in the coop the entrance closed.
