Coop Refresh

Chicken math got me over the last few years and we’ve grown from a flock of 11 to 26! We badly needed a coop refresh to allow for more roosting area and nesting boxes. I was able to add a brooder area as well (still need hinges for the door). My kids were a huge help! Our construction skills are limited but good enough for chickens

Not sure how long those roosts are, they added one, and the edge of poop board would offer another.

The first picture is the before. We extended the poop deck and added a second higher roosting bar for a total of about 20’. I have a few that prefer the lower front ledge of the poop deck or a couple other individual roosting spots in the coop, so there’s plenty of space for everyone
