Finally a new update!. I haven't been able to get as much done lately. Weather has been crappy, and is again today. I think Colorado is trying to turn into Washington. Lots of rain lately. In addition to that I've been very busy with work. I teach at a middle school, so I've been doing end of year stuff, grading papers and what not. I'm also teaching a new summer school class, so I've been busy calling parents and setting that up.

I have been able to get some work done though, so I thought I would share.

I got the frame for the run put up, and I put up most of the fencing. 2 of the sides are pickets, the open side will be hardware cloth.

I also got one coat of paint on yesterday before the rain came back today. I still need to get a second coat on and paint the trim.

Here's the gate to the run. I didn't get around to taking care of the coop door before the rain came.

WOW that is AMAZING!! I have a old dog kennel type thing that is really similar to that! (Me and Dad have been fixing it up when I'm not at school(You and I both spend our weekdays in a middle school!) and when he's not at work, so summer will make it go a lot faster!) Where did you get the plastic on that roof, and what is it called? Can you get it in Southern California? That may sound really stupid, but neither me or anyone in my family is a builder or has any experience building, so sorry.

Hey I'm a teacher, I don't mind questions. The roof is actually corrugated metal. I'm exactly not sure where you get it. Mine was left over from a car port that my dad had built by a local company. I imagine a store like Home Depot would have it.
