Coop/Run almost finished at Butterbean Acres (pics)

Well here we are 2 weeks from our lil chickies arriving and our coop/run is almost finished........ here is our progress...... what do ya think?

Now we just need to put up the netting and shade cloth over the top... and wait for our Chickies of course

the only problem i see is what the coop is made out of, ive heard the tin/aluminum siding is bad becuase moisture can build up and cost respatory problems in the chickens

Looks great! With some good ventilation you should be fine with the metal. Also, with the 2x4 frame in there it would be easy to add insulation or even just a layer of plywood in there to add some insulation down the road if you feel like it (or run across some for free!

)... How many chooks do you have? If they're not laying age, I think it's best to leave the nest boxes out until they get closer to it otherwise they like to sleep in the nest boxes which means poo
