Hello, I know we have all searched until wits end to find the best cleaner for our run and coop. Well I have found the best (for me). You may want to try it. It's called horse stall deodorizer, it comes in a plastic bag and it looks like kitty litter. All you do is sprinkle it around in your coop. It is also safe for your chickens and non-toxic. I'm from Illinois and I picked it up at TSC. Let me know what you think about it.

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! That's great to hear you have found something that works well for you. I'm over in the UK and can't say I have heard of the deodoriser you have described. I will have to look it up. You might like to drop by the coop and run section with your findings on the deodoriser. I'm sure other members will find this very useful. Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow

I've heard of chicken folk using it, I believe it is called something like PDZ (?) and helps keep odors down.

Hello :frow and Welcome To BYC! We have Sweet PDZ or Stall Dry (marketed for horses) in TSCs / feed stores around here, like both of them.
