So Cal high desert near Mojave
About all I've got to do is cut the pop door!... and put up a few perches, and put in feeders and drinkers.
My 8 week old pullets should be in chookie heaven.
Temps are high here, 106 today, so the sprinkler system will help to cool things down.
Hopefully I'll be renting a 'jig saw' tomorrow and get the pop door cut...the ramp is all made.
The fencing is for a dog run...I chose this so that I can easily move it if necessary or expand it...I found a place on the net that sells separate panels, 8ft up to 14ft x 6ft high. I do have plans for more chickens. Right now I have seven 8 week pullets and another fifteen in the brooder.

It looks great!!

Looks good! Just 2 things....I would be worried about something digging under your fence. It doesn't look to secure there. Your chickens could be different than mine but my chickens hate the mister. They will go out in the rain but not the mister. Enjoy!

Thanks..
My yard is fully fenced in and I have a yard dog, Rottweiler mix, so I don't worry too much. The only problem I had was when I was raising canaries...a gopher snake got in thru' 1/2 in mesh and swallowed a canary

...he was too fat to get out lol...I re-located him.

Just keep an eye out for them digging their way out when they dust bathe---ask me how I know

It's not a bad idea to just lay something along the bottom of the fence, log sections or bricks, whatever.
