I built a floor on raised cinder blocks and set our old metal shed on it. Built the supporting structure, removed the cinder blocks and put a roof over it. I'll frame up the outside of shed and put in windows and proper door. Insulate and put 4 x 8 primed wood siding on it. The metal fence is buried 12 inches in the ground. I'm making a door for fence today. I havent hooked up the electric fence yet. Deer fence will go across the run. I have hawks and coons. First pics I've posted.

hawks & coons! Gee, all I have in my coop is chickens... Just kidding, nice way to put an old building to use, I did that as well. I look for to photos of the finished setup!

The metal roof did have some leaks but the idea is to insulate the metal next and put on siding, windows and vents. The coop bottom will be fenced on 2 and 1/2 sides so they can get under it.

We've got 5 White Leghorns and 3 Buff Orpintons born around 1st of June.
