Coop & run picture test.

I built a floor on raised cinder blocks and set our old metal shed on it. Built the supporting structure, removed the cinder blocks and put a roof over it. I'll frame up the outside of shed and put in windows and proper door. Insulate and put 4 x 8 primed wood siding on it. The metal fence is buried 12 inches in the ground. I'm making a door for fence today. I havent hooked up the electric fence yet. Deer fence will go across the run. I have hawks and coons. First pics I've posted.

Looks like a nice big run - nice job. Did you need to build the new roof because the roof of the metal shed was not good?

The metal roof did have some leaks but the idea is to insulate the metal next and put on siding, windows and vents. The coop bottom will be fenced on 2 and 1/2 sides so they can get under it.

Good job with the coop, those chicks should have a nice roomy home!!! And they are awfully cute......
