This winter was my flock with its new coop and run, which were amazing but one thing. I had to scrape off poop from the fake grass we have in the run it was disgusting and I never want to do it again.

So I was wondering what everyone with ducks in permanent coop spots using for the flooring.

In the coop or the run or both? i use wood floor in my coop with sheet vinyl over top then thick fine shavings over that. I don't have a run just half acre fenced.

I have a large hoop coop with half covered in a tarp and the other half open to the sun. So far, I am using the deep litter method, which is several inches of hay from my local feed store. Whenever it gets poopy in there, I add more hay on top.
