COOP SAFE FINISHES?

Hello to all.
I am choosing the finish for my coops and I do have quite a bit of selection of safe paints but.
I was curious to see if anyone can turn me on to any safe varnishes or stains that I can use on the coop.

Since they removed lead from paints years ago,,,,, I don't see anything harmful in today's finishes. Let the paints cure/dry before adding chickens,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
