Coop size good for 4-6 hens???

Welcome to BYC. I agree that coop and run are borderline for 6 birds and that run expansion might be a good idea. If you free range, eventually predators will come and there will be times when the birds must remain penned up. Good luck with your flock.

Hi and welcome to BYC! We're glad you joined us! I agree, the coop is just at big enough.
But when chicken math kicks in, and you come home with more cute little fluffy babies, you'll have to build a bigger coop.

Thanks. Can’t wait to gettem outside. In there coop and run. U think it’s big enough. Coop is 4 by 5. Plus nesting box. And run is 4 by 10. Plus they’ll be in our yard
