Just a little curious here... Our coop is apprx. 5x10. In your opinion is that big enough for 12 chickens.. I really didn't worry about it much for this summer and all.. But we are coming into colder weather and there will be some days when it may be just too cold to let them out.. So.... with that size coop,, Will I be dealing with aggressive / troubled chickens in close quarters..?

Most everyone on here posts when someone asks your question that the standard recommendation is 4 sq. ft per chicken inside the coop plus 10 sq. ft. per chicken in the run.

IMO, inside the coop you do need that amount if they are going to be snowed in a lot, etc.
