Coop Size

@Pinkaboo Did you buy your coop? Do you have any coops online that you recommend? Thank you so much!!

I could probably make the run… I don't know, I'm not very experienced with building.

Chicken saloon has had plenty of poor reviews.

for that kind of money, you can buy locally a top of the line coop and have money left over to buy the chickens, feeders, waterers and feed. They also way overstate how many chickens it is good for. The coop is only 15 sq feet or about right for 4 hens. Not 10-15. Major red flag because that tells me they don't know how much space a chicken truly needs.

So you don't have any building skills. What better project that to learn on. You probably don't have the tool either. That's what neighbors are for. Trade eggs/beer for tool time. Hit CL, your local restore, free ads... tons of stuff on there that will work for the foundation of the coop and run. A large dog house, an old tool shed, a playhouse, a shipping container... Now if you could find an old swing set with a fort...you could be up and running in a day. You would have the framework for a run and you could fortify the fort and make it into a coop. Look for used chainlink dog runs. Even if you have to buy them they will only run about $200 for the size run you are looking at.
