The old digs currently holds two very fat spoiled BOs. They will be the last to move in because I'll have to build the run around the old digs. Right now there are (a number that shall not be named in order to preserve the chicken math) almost 4 week old babies that I moved in today. About 15 of whom are destined to be rehomed.

I love seeing these big coops. I like to try to give animals the most space I can afford to give them. You did a super job

, can't wait to see the inside when you're done.

And I thought building a coop was a 2 weekend job...

Knock Kneed Hen - I can't even remember when I started on this anymore! I think I've been at it for all of April anyway. I'm going to work on painting and trim tomorrow and then I'll work on the inside. I don't have to have a pop door until the run is completed and that a couple of weekends away anyhow. I'll finish shingling when it's nicer out toward the end of the week. My husband finally had to help on Thursday as I was just struggling with the plywood in those tight spaces!
