Coop on a hill??????? I don't see no hill, your on level ground son...but it still is a great looking coop, built like Fort Knox...I like the use of the metal roof as well for the run....nice and secure, I wish you the best.

It is actually on a hill. it sits about 600 feet from the house and about 100 feet higher elevation wise than my house.

Looks great! Could you elaborate on how the coon got through your welded wire? I'm just about ready to fence my runs and am looking at different options.

the coon didn't get thru per say, but he did reach thru the welded wire and chicken wire and grab the chickens and basically pluck them to death and one of them he pulled the head thru and chewed it off. That is why I put the tin in the corners. When the chickens got scared they ran to the corner and the the coons had their way...
