Coop Update {Chicken doors!}

Hey All,

I plan on finishing up the door and it's wall today. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I should do it?

I want to be able to secure the door shut from outside the run. I want a chicken to fit through it

(What dimensions???)

And how do I make a door?

I'll post some pics of my situation when I get the chance.

Yeah...a picture's worth a thousand words (as they say)...lol. Sounds like you'll need a sliding door on a pulley system though...

What size should the door be for a Light Brahma and 2 RIR?

The door only has to be as large as the chicken, so it depends on your chicken, some are big, some not so much. Measure your chiken.

They're not fully grown yet.

8" wide and 12" tall will be plenty big.
