Right, so we don't know if it actually prevented frostbite, or not.
Unless some of bird combs are left uncoated and they do get frost bite and the coated ones don't, that would prove the coating works.
It would be an experiment that no one would really want to conduct.

true! 2of mine that I couldn't catch a week ago to put it on got frostbite, but they are also outside the latest.
