Coop Ventilation

I am looking into putting a powered vent/exhaust fan in my coops just to either blow fresh air in, or suck the stale air out. I do have windows but would like to put additional powered venting in as well.

I saw these online, and was wondering if anyone else has used any of them, either in coop or human housing applications, and if they are worth the effort.

Broan 512
Broan 512M
Broan 510
Suncourt Thru Wall Fan

The only downside I saw to these other than the Broan 512M, is that they are mainly used for interior wall applications. This would be and outside wall application.

My one coop is small, and only houses 7 birds right now, so I think a small fan would work.
My other coop houses upwards of 40 meat birds at a time, and gets pretty smelly.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks.

This is the fan we use in our coop. We paid around $50.00 for it from Home Depot. What's great about it is that each fan runs independently. You can set it to blow stale air out, to pull fresh air in or one each. Hope this helps.
