Metal roofs are prone to gathering condensation. You really don't want it dripping back down. Better to put the sheathing in, I don't think it's a massive additional cost to do so.

The sheathing (plywood) goes on top of the rafters, then the roofing on top of that ... or, on the outside of the wall studs ...
For walls ... consider "SmartSide paneling" ... a modern day approach to T1-11 ...
I agree it's easier, but clapboard siding would look so much better, for the same cost. I could just paint CDX for less than $10.00 a sheet. Won't look as goodSmartSide paneling comes primed ... faster, easier install ... and, 50 year warranty ... $25 a 4'X8' sheet
Your coop size and storage sounds similar to what I am going to try to build. Do you have a thread with photos? I'd love to see for more inspiration.
Yes! I'm imagining the chicken wire is the divider from the storage area? You read my mind! But mine will not be as attractive/polished as yours.This is a picture of the inside of my coop look from the screened off storage side.
