Coop windows

I would say just make sure they are too far away from them too poop on!

Ha, yes! My top roost bar sits between two windows, right at sill height. I do find poop on the sill every so often. :p

To answer OP: as a general rule you don't want open windows right next to a roost, but what matters more is placing them so they don't cause a draft. I have 5 windows but none face our prevailing wind direction.
