Coop with chickens or guineas?

Question!
So since it seems turkeys shouldn’t be housed with any other poultry can they be in a coop that is joined to the chicken coop? and would 8’x8’ be big enough for at least 4 turkeys?

I recommend a minimum of at least 10 sq. ft. of clear floor space per adult turkey. I recommend that it be at least 8' to the rafters from the floor. They have to have a much bigger run with at least 50 sq. ft. per adult turkey to go along with the coop.

My adult turkeys never sleep in the coop. They have roosts outside in an area that is sheltered from the prevailing wind.

Hmmm, I don’t believe it’s that tall. Maybe 6-7 feet tall. That’s the one thing I didn’t measure.

Turkeys like to roost high is the reason for having high walls. I like high walls so I don't have to stoop down in a coop.

Im converting a grain bin into a coop and it has a small shed(8x8) attached to it. I was hoping that would make a decent turkey coop so it’s separate from the other fowl. The chickens would then get the 20’ round grain bin. If I could keep the turkeys in with the chickens I could easily give them nice high roosts.

My turkeys and chickens have access to the same coop. It is where they are fed and watered. The turkeys roost outside at night and the chickens roost in the coop.

I do not have blackhead here so the chickens cannot pass it on to the turkeys. The run where the turkeys spend the majority of their time when not free ranging in an approximately 2 acre area, is approximately 50' x 100' which gives around 500 to 600 sq. ft. per adult turkey. There are lots of obstacles and hiding places to give any threatened chickens a chance to escape.
