Coop with pallet wood?

Curious if anyone has used pallet wood. We plan to stain for weatherproofing (live in a rainy place). Just wanting to make sure there are no safety implications to consider! We're still planning to purchase frame beams.

We used pallet slats for siding and shutters. Just lots of nails to pull out. Good way to recycle wood.
