Coop

Hi,
I was wondering if I should close the coop door in the morning after all the chickens are out in the run?

Not if your coop and run are connected. I let mine roam between the two at will. I figure the more room they have to explore, the better! I even leave the coop and run open when they are free ranging. If you have anymore questions, just ask! This is a great place to find answers!

I leave the coop open until dark. My chickens will go inside and inspect the clean straw after we clean the coop daily.

I get the feeling they are choosing their next nesting site!
