Cooperative Behavior?

Is it possible that Knock is trying to move up to tribe one and Cillin and Treakle are escorting her as a part of integration?
She and Treakle may form a tribe within the tribe so to speak?
Im just throwing out theories. Im learning and asking questions is how I learn best..
Yes it is. Unless I've intervened in some way this is how new groups have formed.
The satellite, or junior rooster will start escorting a hen to and from the nest site initially. On return he will take the hen to the outskirts of the group and wait for the next hen to lay. The problem here is a shortage of coops for new groups. In the past I've had spare capacity and the new pair/trio have moved to a new coop.

Maybe they "realize" the shortage and will both continue to be part of tribe 1 but as a subordinate pair?

I wouldn't want to be a junior hen moving into Tribe 1's coop with Fat Bird in there.
Idk. it's going to be interesting to see what happens.
From what Ive read about Fat Bird neither would I.. but maybe thats what all the show is about.. the escorting ..lol
Maybe the boys are slowly bringing her in to keep FB from getting upset. Watch her reactions during the process and see if you notice her watching Knock.

There were two groups of chickens originally.
One group of Marans and bantams mixed who free ranged, and one group of bantams who were kept in a run 24/7.
I let the bantams in the run out so they could free range as well.
I let them all choose where and with who they lived.
The bantams that lived with the Marans moved in with the bantams who had been cooped.
As breeding took place the newcomers roosted in the trees.
I built more coops and they moved in with some encouragement.
