Coops ain't easy lol

I have built 3 coops and swear I will never build a 3rd. It still needs paint but it is done. This coop can accomadate 7 -8 chickens.

My coop was inherited, and my isolation pen is a recycled (read, picked up off the side of the road) dog breeding kennel. So I can't tell ya.

One of the issues with building vs buying is that it can be hard to buy a coop that's actually any good. A lot of the smaller ones in particular are way too small, poorly ventilated, or both. Mostly when I see people buying coops, they're actually building a doghouse, shed, or other structure and modding it.
