Goats are VERY good at escape. Also, I have heard of pigmy goats managing to smash themselves through tiny chicken pop doors so that they could eat the chicken feed.

And yes, free access to chicken feed will kill the goats.

So.... you need bigger goats that can not, under any circumstances, smush themselves through a chicken pop door... or fully segregate.

Goats can kill themselves on goat grain, too, so it's imperative to have all feeds securely locked up.
