I've seen a lot of tiny little coops sold for the same prices and not made half as nice with very cheap wood. These look a lot nicer and seem much bigger for the money. That's pretty incredible they offer free shipping! Thanks for sharing that link!! They are really adorable, too.

ETA-- I didn't see any size dimensions on there. Be sure to check the sizes and do not include the nest boxes in your square footage-- it doesn't count when you are figuring up how many birds can fit in the coop. Do NOT use their guide for how many chickens their coop will fit. It seems like builders ALWAYS say the coop can hold twice as many as they really should. You don't want to end up with feather picking.

Yes, I can't believe some of the prices I've seen for coops! It's quite insane. I thought there were dimensions on there; if not on the link I had, than on their main coop page. Free shipping too was quite a find. They got good reviews on Ebay so we'll see what else people say! And I'll go for one bigger than I need because I have the feeling I'll end up with more than 3-4! Thanks for the input!

I wouldn't even consider one of their coops. They are the same as the cheap Ebay coops. They are very small, very poorly constructed, and have a tendency to warp and fall apart after the first rainy season. There was a couple of postings recently I believe from people who had problems with them. One of our local feed stores has one of these types of imported coops on display and frankly it's nothing more than an expensive doll house for chickens.

We bought one of the CC only coops recently, put it together and decided it was a costly learning experience. It was supposedly able to house 4-6 chickens, but the chickens would be very crowded even if we only put 4 in it. It is a pretty lightweight coop. Right now that coop is sitting in the yard and we haven't decided exactly what to do with it. We are building a stick built 8x8 coop for our 8 chicks and have just a little more money into it than the CConly coop. Be careful the pictures are very deceiving.

my concerns would be-
the nesting boxes look higher than the roosts, so they will roost on the edge of the nest box,
you'll have to clean the sliding poop drawer every day - if you don't, the poop will pile too high to slide it open - nuff said
I think it's too lightweight

wow! Thanks everyone for your input; I was under the impression they were made here in Ohio? This is disappointing to say the least; I guess it's true: you get what you pay for. I just didn't want to spend $400+ on a chicken coop....anyone selling any of their used coops in NE Ohio?

I'll keep on looking...
