Hey guys, I'm looking to get a new coop. My old one got demolished in the storms and is no longer waterproof. I would really like some ideas on what a good coop would be for 3 silkies and 2 normal size hens? It needs to be quite sustainable. Help would be really appreciated,

4square feet per bird.

4sqft per bird in coop, and 10sqft in run, is a minimal 'rule of thumb'.
IMO it is bare minimum...everyone will be happier with more space.

But many things can come under consideration when you size a coop.
