Hip Hillbilly Acres
Crowing
Personally, I could use THREE, right now. But my budget says "One; now sit down and shut up."

Technically 1 coop but
3 large dog crates that have been used as brooders/coops (hospital space)
Cat carrier
Bathroom (temp coop)
Several large totes/boxes
Cause I want 30-40 birds. For now I have 25 chicks and the coop he is building supposedly holds 30. I have 5 Brahma and I want them in their own coop with loads of room. So that would be 1. Then there is one for the other 20 that I have. Then I'd love one more for 10 other chickens. One correct size coop is the ideal norm,,,,,,, unless
a,) you intend to breed.
b) you need to separate roosters.
c) you intend to raise eggers, and broilers, or other fowl like ducks ETC.
What is your thinking wanting 3 coops???
The plan is to free range my 25 lil ones.Technically I have 5 coops on our property. My granny had 2 and my 2 great grandmothers both had one. Only mine is operational. They all free ranged and I don't.
Now that's whats up!!!!!I have 2 coops linked into one big run I have 13 chickens they normally divide out 7 and a 6 at nite and have lot more nesting areas as get a lot of broodys lol so lot more space xx
On prop I am thinking. Are we counting operational or on property?
