is it legal here to steal other members coop design? Cause thats what I did.....

Folks post here about their coops because they are proud of them. They don't have a "patent" on them and thus if one uses the same design, they're not legally stealing anything. They would likely see it as a compliment that you used the same design.

Dont they say that "imitation is the greatest form of flattery"? You could pick anyones coop design and they will more than likely give you pointers and any problems they encountered during the process. There are no egos here. We are just proud chicken servants but somewhat eclectic bunch.Whatever that means.

Our first coop design was based on other ones we had seen. Once we realized what our flock size would be and what their needs would bee we had to dimantle the whole thing and start from scratch. Always a good idea to plan ahead...
