Hi guys! Coop building is just about done. Doing the roof pop door and people door today. Chose corrugated steel for my roof. How much overhang should we need? The coop is 4x8 shed style.

Are you talking overhang at the front? If so, the structure is such that an overhang running straight up off as a continuation of the roof is really not going to provide any sort of benefit, imo. The pop door is located such that the overhang won't afford any protection from rain, etc - likewies, any overhang is unlikely to provide any sort of dry/protected bit directly in front of the building in general...unless you are considering taking the overhang out and then down. A better option, if weather protection is your goal, may be to attach separate gable overhangs directly over the openings of concern

That's what I thought. Eventually the run will be the overhang. But we can putsomething there in the meantime. Thanks#
