Copper Marans Eggs-HELP

I just purchased two Black Copper Marans. Have had them about 4 days and haven't been accepted by the other girls yet. But they are laying. However, their eggs aren't chocolate brown! They are a light brown. Could this be from stress?

They probably just don't lay very dark eggs. I've seen most people use a chart on here to rate their egg color. The egg colors on the chart range from rather light to extremely dark. So what I'm trying to say is, just because you have Marans doesn't mean they will lay those beautiful chocolate eggs. Especially if you bought them from a hatchery (or the person you bought them from got them from a hatchery). Good luck!

EDITED TO ADD: I just re- read your post and noticed you've had them 4 days. Are these the only eggs you've gotten from them?????
