Copperhead bite, can anything be done ?

No doubt it’s a copperhead . Good news is it was a big one. The little ones inject all their venom but the big ones conserve. He is in my burn pit with a flat head right now

Antivenom is prohibitively expensive, sometimes even for treating humans.

Are you a trained toxicologist specialized in snakes bites? I have used benadryl to control swelling, not as an antivenom.
