copra Meal Or cocofeed question

Is anyone else using coconut Meal (copra meal is a
more precise term per my co-worker who is from
the Phillipines.) as a feed Ingredient?

Copra meal was one of the things we mixed in to feed the horses in Papua New Guinea (also in the Pacific.) We fed our chickens fresh coconut as 'scratch' there, but never the dried copra. I'm sure they would enjoy the copra too, as a scratch treat.

We use it and they LOVE it. Have friends that produce coco butter and we get all the meal from them.
