Just is case, going to purchase some Corid before my chicks arrive in April. Therefore prepared but hopefully not needed and good to have on hand. Seen it in powder or liquid form which is better? Is it better to premix or mix it when needed? I think the mixing dose is 1/2 teaspoon per gallon of water. For liquid and quart waterer for chicks will be 1/4 teaspoon of the liquid CORID. What is the powder dosage?

I'd only mix Corid if needed.

Keep your brooder dry and relatively clean and tidy. It's a good idea to provide your chicks with a plug of sod from the area in which they will live as well.

Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid Dose is 1 1/2tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
Do not add any extra vitamins/electrolytes that contain B1(Thiamine) to food or water during the course of treatment.

Thanks for the advice will keep as needed. Do you prefer keeping liquid or powder version in case needed on hand?
