corking????

Have you lost interest in them already just because you can't sex them? I don't notice a lot of people giving them away any more than any other breed. If birds are being passed along from owner to owner with little regard to them I think it says more about the previous owners, not the birds.

I agree with Marans guy.

I think Silkies are the most difficult chickens to sex. I pay alot of attention to the kone, wattles, head, and hackle feathering.

The blue earlobes means their purebreed.

Even though their hard to sex.Their docile, and fun to have around. I will always have a few around.

do you treat them the same as the other chickens? I mean I dont know to turn them loose and let them run around the yard during the day or not.....they dont seem to want out....can they hold their own to the larger chickens?
