Hello all. I recently posted a question in emergencies but no answer. Will ask here. My two and a half month old cochins as well as both adult banty hens all get fresh corn daily. I put a half cob on a plate and sprinkle meal worms on for the babies. This is in addition to their Purina Start and Grow daily. The hens get Family Farm Eggmaker with a sprinkle of cooked corn and a smattering of wild bird seed which they inexplicably love. My issue is this and I don't know how to say this nicely but the babies droppings are coming out looking like black pudding. no white to it, at all. They act healthy are growing like weeds and feathered out nicely so I know it is not a parasite, but am almost sure it is the corn is too rich. I just need someone with more knowledge of feeding to verify.
