So my ducks seemed to like the corn in the cob, and breaking it into chunks About 3-4” long they seemed to have an easier time eating the kernels. They have had corn before so I didn’t think much about it. I didn’t notice any of the cons tonight when I put them away, now maybe they got rolled down into the grass, maybe they got carried away by the squirrels or chipmunks, but what if they ate them??? I’ve read about make mergansers eating a 12” fish whole... had I ought to be worried? They never seem to swallow melon rinds everyone was acting normal today.

I posted a while back when I was worried because my duck had swallowed a banana peel whole and someone commented that their duck had eaten a corn cob and been fine so I probably had nothing to worry about. I'd watch for anyone acting uncomfortable though and make sure everyone seems normal

I did go out and found the cobs early when I got up, so I figured they could have some more this morning, they seem to enjoy!

Hmmm I've never heard of a duck eating a cob. I will sometimes bring back fresh corn from the farmers market and my ducks love those, but after an hour or two I go collect them to avoid the flies so I've never really thought about it🤔
