Corn stalks for Rabbits

I almost forgot about all kinds of greens like collards, and turnips...best tasting after kissed by the first frost.

I gave the bunnies the corn leaves yesterday and they went nuts. Good to know they like them so much. I wonder if they are in an enclosure of I can get corn to grow in there during winter.

Been raining here and I have water problems I don't need. Can just imagine how bad it will be after the 4 day storm they say is coming. So my gardening is on hold a bit while I try to come up with tarps and more plywood. Always something.

I turned a 20 x 20 area yesterday and got half way through before I was attacked by fire ants. The swelling is down and this evening I went out to finish raking through and actually finished. Now to level it better and get those boards moved. I may be able to set up two raised beds with some area in between, so I can manuver around and get to different areas. I'm thinking of using sand around the outside and if I have enough room I can add some pots or buckets for extra stuff.

On a bad note. The only tomatoe plant I had was just getting blooms and I killed it. I hope that's not a sign.
