I noticed today that my chicken had cornbread stuck over her nostril. I took a qtip and got the hardened surface off her nostril but there is more in the inside. I can't seem to pick it out, its soft and wants to go deeper. Has anyone had this happen and what did they do?

You can try to use a toothpick to get it out, but be very careful. If that fails, use an eyedropperful of warm water to flush her nostrils...it wont hurt her.

I tried breaking it up with a toothpick and later went out and the air dryed it up, Thank Goodness. Next time I'll take a warm moist cloth. This is a good lesson, when I give them Cornbread for a treat I'm breaking in up real crumbly not in chunks, she stuck her entire nose it in!
