Hey Y'all, I got a little dilemma with my cornish bantams.
I ordered 10 of the little guys (5 White Laced Reds and 5 Blue Laced Reds)

I did get 10 cornish, one isn't a White or blue Laced one but they're not the focus here

the other 9 I can't tell apart, and I want to know if I got one less of the white or blue.
4 of them have noticable red, but I don't know if they're a certain color or if maybe the males or females develop color faster?

A big fear of mine is that the other five are white only because they already swapped one out for a color I didn't order and I'll be pretty upset if they did that with another five of them

(I'll post pics later, I just cleaned them so they're a little stressed right now)

I'm not sure, the chick never looked like one from the day we got it. I'm pretty sure that odd one out is a dark cornish. I'm just a little concerned now that they might have not even put the other nine correctly because of them putting the dark on in there and not recording it. They don't offer Black or splash laced red (I know they can still come from Blues, but they don't offer so I have nothing to compare to the chick that stands out.)

They're not usually offered separately and if they come from the breeder/hatchery directly they usually put those varieties in the description of blue laced red but if you buy from a middle man who drop ships from the original hatchery then it might not be mentioned. My guess is it's a black laced red but we'll find out when we see pictures

These are examples of all the cornish I got. They're 2-3 weeks (I think around 19 daysish?)

These first two are the same bird and this is the one I think is a dark cornish they threw in. She had the chipmunk style markings as a baby

The third pick is an example of the ones that have white feathers

The fourth is kind of between. They don't have nearly as much red as the red ones, but they're not white all the way either

The fifth one is the red, dark ones I mentioned.

I have four with about this much color and five that are either white or barely red.

I wasn't sure because another hatchery I looked at before ordering offered Blue Laced Red Wyandottes and Splash Laced Red Wyandottes separate

you are right, it's a dark cornish, I don't see any that look like blrw..even the splash ones usually have a bit of blue on them but it doesn't seem like any of them have blue?

None yet. They're about 3 weeks old right now, but I've never had anything with blue or lacing so I'm not sure if it's a color that comes in after their first molt like some of my birds have

Blue shows up at hatch and lacing when they start to feather in. Looks like you've got only a dark cornish and white laced red cornishes.
