Cornish cross question

I guess a better question is whether I can measure the area and find out how many cornish cross birds or freedom rangers can be happily and healthffully tractored on that number of square feet?

I put 100 cornish cross in a 10x12 pen.....like shown in that picture. I move them 2 to 3 times daily and still that's pushing it. If you want to move only once a day... I would move first thing in the morning as there is always a heavier load of manure in the morning due to everyone sleeping together. So maybe 25 is probably the max if you have a small area. If you have a couple of acres you can do 50.


Depends on how much pasture you have?
