Cornish cross with discolored breasts when I butchered.

This was near the breast bone on the very inside of the breast. The chicken otherwise looked completely healthy when I butchered her. Does anyone know what disease this is??

It might be called deep pectoral myopathy. Read this link and see if it sounds like what you are dealing with. Good luck to you!

That's sounds 100% like what I saw on the bird. Thanks very much. Says its safe to cut out and eat the rest of the bird, but since I'm not on survivor I think it will just go to the raw dog plate lol
