Cornish cross

Ok I am going to be getting some meat chickens and they are going to be Cornish cross chicks and i was wondering if i put a rooster and a hen in with my egg layers will they not put on alot of weight and will they lay eggs so we can just hatch them from now on instead of buying them every time when we can just hatch them and raise them a little less money spent if you know what i mean.

I asked that same question, and I was told yes. This is my first experience with meat chickens, so I had a few questions. Mine are about 3 months old now, and doing very well. PIGLETS, but good.
