I hve 3 chickens that are supposed 2 be (aren't they always supposed to bes?) Dark Cornish. They are about 10 weeks old and the tallest I have. Mostly black with some brown, the picture here is the one that has the most and I would say it is a hen? Anyway, I thought they had red combs? Neither do they have short stubby legs but long heavy legs.
For now I will put this one photo I have up and will take some more tomorrow incones of the other 2 birds. My other two do have red combs.
Any guesses? Almost has to be a game bird of some kind. More upright but not straight and long legged! I figure a good guess will take more than this picture but it is a start.

The feather color is right and I thought it was a hen. The coloring on this one is actually closer to photos I have seen for that sex. My other two have different patterning and maybe just because i think they are roos. But...this one doesn't have a red comb...it is black.
Beautiful birds BTW. Maybe mine are longer due to the quality of the birds.

where did u get the birds? if from a hatchery then they can look differnt. they dont always fit breed standards. I had a Silver Spangled Hamburg from a hatchery. Its Feathers were almost all black and it had a blue comb. and thos birds in the pic i posted are not mine. lol i wish they were. I found that pic online. but that pic u posted does look like a dark cornish hen, If the others are almost all black then they are roos
