HELLO everyone we are new to BYC,we got some Cornish Rock Cross chickens about 4 weeks ago (our first time to deal with meat birds) one of them has bad legs it gets around but is growing slower then the rest we put it with some chicks smaller then him and it seemed to help. I think it was because the little ones make him get around more. was wondering if any one else may have ideas to help get him on his feet better
From research we have found bad legs are common in this breed so we hope someone can help

Welcome!

Sorry that I have no experience with meat birds but I see that you have posted on the Forum Ken gave you a link to so I will just wish you all the best.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.
