cornish runt

one of my ten cornish x is about half as big as the others,its eating along with the others ,im sure its getting enough food but it just won't grow,,is a runt normal is possible sick bird?it acts just like the others,and looks like them except he is a runt.their 4 weeks old at this time

Runts are normal in all animals ... I had a runt also the sad thing is mine eventually couldnt fight its way to the food so I ended up processing it early...

yep, apparently it's normal. I have one in my bunch too. But it's getting big enough now it's bigger than a cornish game hen. So I'll just go ahead and process shortly with those who's legs are beginning to give out.

I had 39 cornish to start...had one runt, and eventually he didn't make it. Passed at about 2 weeks.

I have about ten runts in this batch of 200. I always notice a runt or two when they try to fall through the killing cones.

Sometimes the runts turn out to be leghorns. It happened to me once.
