Cornish-X and maximizing space.

Hello,

My wife and I are looking at raising some meat birds while maximizing our land space. I'm wondering if I can raise CX on a slope? I have about 500 sq feet of land that I plan on using for my shadow garden but would like to have the area "tilled" up first. Would CXs be able to handle the slope with their leg troubles?

Well it depends a bit on what you mean by a slope. I raised fifteen last year, and there is a slight slope to the land, mine walked well, and certainly would come running for food. As they got bigger, they rested more, but could always walk well.
